ANZAC day

Ella showed us a poppy that her Dad made with his Scouts group. Why do we celebrate ANZAC Day? Why do we wear poppies?

Yummy pancakes

Thanks to Onnah and her Mum Lauren, we were treated to some delicious pancakes this morning. Onnah read a book in class that described how to make pancakes and she made them at home. They came to school beautifully presented on a white plate with sugar, lemon and a knife and fork - yum!

A Dinosaur Mural

This week the Kiwi reading group read a book called A Dinosaur Mural. It had instructions on how to make a mural. Then at discovery time the picture smart children had the opportunity to read the book, follow the instructions and make their own mural - we think it looks great!
